Valerie Miles was born and raised in Madison County. She and her husband Joe have been married 40 years. They have 3 children, 7
grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild. Valerie brings 40 years of Real Estate experience, starting in new construction and growing into a respected leader with the Huntsville Area Association of Realtors, where she served as President in 2011 & 2018, and President of ValleyMLS in 2009 & 2016, among other roles. Valerie believes in looking forward and as a part of this vision she chaired the committee that made HAAR the first MLS in the nation to negotiate self-syndication contracts with third-party sites, a move now widely followed. She has been a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, Monrovia since 1973. Valerie is the Broker of Frank Dawson Realty Co. Inc. a Property Management Company a company started by her father in the mid-1980’s. She is passionate about community involvement and has volunteered with CASA, Habitat for Humanity, Next Step Farms, Realtors In Action and more.
